PERMISSIONS

⇓in character⇓

PHYSICAL AFFECTION: Yes! He may be awkward about it and he rarely initiates it, but it's all good

PHYSICAL VIOLENCE: Yes! He's down for a fight and is likely to fight back. (Please talk to me if the physical violence can or might escalate into serious injury or death, though.)

ROMANCE/FLIRTING: Yes, though he's not often flirty himself

SEXUAL CONTENT: I do not actually want to get Ironwood laid in Deer but everything up to that or dirty jokes and the like are fine though

PSYCHIC ABILITIES: He has none but feel free to use psychic abilities on him, though he might not like it

MAGIC/POWERS: Using other people's powers on him: good to go. And note that his own abilities are mostly defensive outside his weapons.

MEDICAL INFORMATION: He's 6'6", muscular, and has robotic prosthetics for roughly half of his body (his pullpoint is v7ep7 for the record), with the occasional aches and pains on the other side. The plate in his forehead is a neurotransmitter to help with his prosthetics.

OFFENSIVE SUBJECTS OR TRIGGERS: He does not like people lying to him, and really dislikes when things (or people, tbh) feel outside his control. May be triggered by his shit being hacked, Queen chess pieces, or certain things from his world such as Salem.

⇓out of character⇓

BACKTAGGING: Yes, please! I can be all over the place with my tagging speeds, I totally understand if it takes a while to get back to a thread.

FOURTH WALLING: Yes, with both RWBY stuff and his weird Wizard of Oz connection to the Tin Man, though with the former I prefer a head's up beforehand.

THREADHOPPING: Absolutely, please do, if you're ever unsure about a specific thread feel free to ask

OFFENSIVE SUBJECTS/TRIGGERS:
I have a blood/injury phobia, emphasis on the blood tbh, and the vast majority of the time this only applies to things in real life, so fictional/artistic/written accounts are mostly fine as long as they don't go into excessive, gritty detail or are depicted in a very realistic manner. The distinction here is realism, not how bad/gory the injury is - in fact, the more over-the-top it is (such as say, rooms filling with blood) the less likely it is to bother me.
NOTE: these aren't things to avoid in threads with me, a content warning in the subject line for injuries/torture/blood/gore etc will do fine. This is a controlled environment and I've found that RPers don't tend to go into the amount of detail that would make me queasy; however if you're ever worried please feel free to ping me OOCly about it!

Sexual assault/sexual harrassment/rape/CSA are subjects that are fine to breach in threads ie talk about but I prefer a CW as a head's up, and are not things I would like to play out.

ANYTHING ELSE: CONTENT WARNINGS: Because of the nature of his body, subject matters such as dismemberment and loss of limb may come up, though probably not in detail. Additionally please note his storyline heavily features a nation sliding into military totalitarianism with him at the head.

If, for whatever reason, you do not wish to thread with me or Ironwood or prefer certain topics not come up in threads, no worries just let me know. Comments to this post are screened.

FOR RWBY CASTMATES (OR PPL CLOSE TO)/RWBY SPOILERS:
Please let me know if you're going to inform Ironwood of anything he does in Volume 8, there are some things I would prefer to plot out first, thank you!

FOR CHARACTERS THAT LIKE TO POKE INTO THINGS / GATHER INFORMATION / INVESTIGATE
Network stalking is okay! Feel free to find out whatever you would like about Ironwood from his public network threads or what other people say about him. If that's a lot of tl;dr, I can deffo give you a quick rundown if you hit me up!
